Dress up your Redheads® Extra Long Matches with this collectible metal Matchbox Sleeve, handmade in Tailem Bend, South Australia. Designed to slide neatly over a standard box of Redheads Extra Long Matches, it adds a protective outer layer and brings a touch of classic Redheads charm to your everyday essentials.

Each set includes one Matchbox Sleeve and one box of 45 Extra Long Matches. Redheads® Extra Long Safety Matches are designed for hard to reach places and a longer burn time. Made from high quality FSC® certified Aspen wood, these 90 mm matches are the longest and thickest in our range.

Made from 2mm Aluminium and powder coated red.

Dimensions: 110 mm W x 70 mm D x 22 mm H

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Avoid abrasive cleaners to protect the finish.

How to safely light a match

  1. Hold the matchbox in your non-dominant hand, ensuring the striking pad is easily accessible.
  2. Take a match from the box with your dominant hand.
  3. Firmly strike the match against the striking pad, aiming to do so in a downward motion away from your body. This ensures the ignited flame rises safely away from you.
  4. Use firm pressure while striking, but avoid excessive force as the matches are made of natural wood and can break if handled too roughly.
