How to refill your Gasmatch
- Always refill the Gasmatch in an upside-down position.
- Hold securely, insert the refill into the valve with even downward pressure.
- A hissing sound indicates the Gasmatch is full.
- Wait 2 minutes before use.
Additional Gasmatch refilling tips
Always refill your Gasmatch upside-down to prevent air from entering. If air does enter, release it by pressing the refill inlet valve with a small screwdriver until no hissing sound is heard.
To remove excess air from the fuel tank, press the refill inlet valve while holding the Gasmatch away from your face. Excess air can prevent proper refilling and cause operational issues.
Shake the butane gas refill canister and press the stem directly onto the refill valve at the bottom of the Gasmatch. Keep both canister and Gasmatch straight, allowing gas to flow into the Gasmatch for approximately 5 seconds. Repeat for a shorter duration if necessary.
Allow 3-4 minutes for the gas and lighter components to reach room temperature before use, especially if stored in a cold environment.
