How to refill your Gasmatch

  1. Bleed the Gasmatch to empty remaining fuel.
  2. Always refill the Gasmatch in an upside-down position and match the nozzle of the gas can to the refill valve.
  3. Hold securely, firmly press the nozzle down into the valve with even downward pressure.
  4. A hissing sound indicates the Gasmatch is full.
  5. Wait 3-5 minutes before use.

Additional Gasmatch refilling tips

Always refill your Gasmatch upside-down to prevent air from entering. If air does enter, release it by pressing the refill inlet valve with a small screwdriver until no hissing sound is heard.

To remove excess air from the fuel tank, press the refill inlet valve while holding the Gasmatch away from your face. Excess air can prevent proper refilling and cause operational issues.

Press the stem of the butane gas refill canister directly onto the refill valve at the bottom of the Gasmatch. Keep both canister and Gasmatch straight, allowing gas to flow into the Gasmatch for approximately 5 seconds. Repeat for a shorter duration if necessary.

Allow 3-5 minutes for the gas and lighter components to reach room temperature before use, especially if stored in a cold environment.
